ITDP-China has been cooperating with Dongguan Urban Planning and Design Institute (DUPDI) for the last few years, providing design suggestion for Dongguan Greenway design, and technical support of the Dongguan City and Community Greenway Planning and Design Guideline. In the end of 2014, the NMT and complete street demonstration project, designed by ITDP and DUPDI, was put into use. The colored bike lanes, shared streets, pedestrian zone, raised driveway, mid-block crossing, and bollard make the place safer and more accessible.
